BGPOV #OnceHomelessChallenge

If you have ever been to San Francisco, you know that there is a huge homeless problem here. There are more homeless here than any other city I’ve ever visited in my life. When I spoke to Once Homeless Founder and my friend Jazmin about this she really put things into perspective for me. I explained how I felt that there is little to nothing I could do for homeless here because the problem is too big. She reminded me that doing something is better than doing nothing. I sporadically buy homeless people here food but I wanted to take Once Homeless’ advice by doing something that could last more than a day. I also wanted to take the time to treat a few people like family members or friends. I enjoy putting together gifts for friends, family, and at work so I decided to put together gifts for a few homeless here in the city and give one away each day this week on my way to work.
